Notes:
20 shillings equals a pound but there is no coin of this value. It is bookkeeping term. Although the silver penny exists in theory the smallest silver coin in use is the six pence coin. This is the most valuable coin most villains and poor simple folk will ever see. Most business by these folk in conducted with copper coins. Middle class simple folk will be familiar with the Shilling and Silver Eagle and may see a Quarter or Half Eagle from time to time. Only the wealthy will ever see the larger gold coins.
